The Blue Boar is a 17th century coaching inn in the heart of Witney overlooking the market square and provides a perfect venue to celebrate your special day.

Our dedicated team will work with you to create your bespoke wedding package; from bouquets to bubbly and decorations to DJ’s, our aim is to ensure that your day runs as smoothly as possible.

Whether you’re after a smaller, more intimate event or a slightly grander affair, the Bosworth Suite is a completely self-contained function suite. With its own private entrance and fully staffed bar, it can accommodate up to 40 guests for a formal seated wedding breakfast and up to 75 for your evening celebration and buffet.

Taking you from your pre-wedding preparation, to the wedding breakfast and into your evening reception, we will work with you to create a wedding package tailored specifically to your needs.

Our chefs are dedicated to culinary excellence, and will create unique and sumptuous food, using the best ingredients, for your celebrations. Whether it’s a 3 course Wedding Breakfast, or a buffet for your Reception, we are here to create a package bespoke to your day. From welcome drinks and wines at the table through to the all-important Champagne toast we can help you make the perfect selection from our cellars.

With exposed beams, classic colours and comfortable furnishing, each of our 20 en suite bedrooms have been individually decorated in keeping with the building’s centuries-old design. Our beautiful beamed bridal suite offers all the modern comforts you would expect from your hotel.
